The proverbial question is, how and why did you actually get into modelling in the first place?

It was more or less an accident. Not an accident, but circumstances.

Because I didn't enjoy doing anything else.

I went through jobs at the rate of knocks.

Every two weeks I had a different job.

I actually had one job for a year.

Of modelling? No, this was before I was modelling.

I was working at a building society.

I couldn't stand it. I was about 17.

I just thought I can't stay here for the rest of my life.

I went through everything. People used to say, "Why don't you try modelling?"

So I did. It was not something I'd always wanted to do.

I thought, "I'll have a go at that. I've tried everything else."

Did someone actually push you into it?

No, generally people used to say, "Why don't you try it?"

Then I thought, "Well, I'll have a go."

I actually ran a modelling agency in Bradford, where I come from.
