Hi guys, so I'm back with another video just to deal with a topic that I get asked about quite a bit,
which is hand expressing. So if you are a breastfeeding mum, you will need to hand express at times.
If you choose to use your breast milk to mix with the baby's foods initially when you're weaning,
or if you choose to leave your baby for any time for any reason.
Yeah, so you will need to express some breast milk for your baby.
Or like if your baby is in the NICU, the NICU unit, and you can't move your baby straight away,
you can express your milk for the baby. And obviously as the baby gets older, you may choose to use an electric pump.
But like when the baby is newborn, like they have tiny little tummies and they can't drink a whole lot.
So like hand expressing is probably going to be okay. And so obviously if you haven't got an electric breast pump as well,
you will need to hand express then. So I'm going to do a quick tutorial.
And just a warning out there for you guys, I will be showing my breast.
